In a remarkable display of devotion, three pilgrims from West Bengal, namely Rambhakta Vishwambhar Kalita, Pappu Bala, and Abhishek Sharma, walked barefoot from Kolkata to Ayodhya with a mission to pray for peace, harmony, and the establishment of Ramrajya in West Bengal. Vishwambhar Kalita, a resident of Boharrampur town in Murshidabad district, initiated this pilgrimage one and a half years ago, pledging to reach Ayodhya on foot on the day of the consecration of the Ayodhya Shri Ram temple.
Expressing concerns about the prevailing anarchy in West Bengal, Kalita aims to invoke Lord Shri Ram's blessings for a restoration of peace and harmony in the state. As the consecration date of the Shri Ram temple approaches, the trio's unwavering faith draws attention, inspiring others along their journey. Witnessed in Maunath Bhanjan, the public joined in chanting "Jaishree Ram" as the devotees advanced on their sacred quest.
Pappu Bala, from Durgapur village, and Abhishek Sharma, from Gadiya Mohalla in Kolkata, stressed the necessity of transforming the atmosphere in West Bengal, expressing discomfort felt by Sanatani followers. Drawing on ancestral tales of Ramrajya, they hope to bring back an era of peace and harmony to West Bengal and have reached Ayodhya to offer their prayers to Lord Shri Ram.
